Opening hours

Science Space is open 10am - 4pm. We are closed to the public on Wednesdays during NSW school term. Please read on for details of our variations to opening hours and Public Holiday closures.

NSW School Terms

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 10am - 4pm. 
  • Wednesday: Closed to the public. Group bookings, excursions and special events only.

NSW School Holidays

Everyday: 10am - 4pm.*

Holiday closures

We will be closed on the following days:

  • Christmas Eve: Tuesday, 24 December, 2024
  • Christmas Day: Wednesday, 25 December, 2024
  • Boxing Day: Thursday, 26 December, 2024
  • New Years Day: Wednesday, 1 January, 2025 

Open on Australia Day Public Holiday - Monday, 27 January, 2025

Maintenance closures

We will be closed for maintenance:

  • Monday, 3 February to Friday, 7 February, 2025
  • Monday, 10 February to Friday, 14 February, 2025

We will remain open on the weekends during this time, and for our quarterly Homeschool Day Wednesday, 12 February 2025.
